i'm still slightly confused. in other words, just like every other day.

Okay, so evidently Twitter is the new black. Except it was already the new black, so maybe it's the new...green? I like green, let's say it's the new green. Or blue. It's the new blue. That's cool; I've always liked Twitter. More users can only be a good thing (except for when/if it makes the service slow and unwieldy, but we're not going to think about that right now).

Except I'm not sure why I'm getting all these new people adding me. I figured that mass adds would just affect tech bloggers and the people who love them ("Next week on Maury!"). My last posts were about The Simpsons' Dr. Nick and his greased-paper test (you know what I'm talking about. Yes, you do. And if you don't, I can't be bothered), a random "Twilight sucks, it's a terrible book" (I know, just stating the obvious), political rhetoric (of sorts), and a few replies about browsers (switching between Opera 10 and Chrome 1.0 this week, loving them both They're both lightning-fast, and for being an alpha, Opera 10 is really un-buggy).

Is this just a case of mass-adding everyone's who's posted recently? Or adding people that actually interest you? It really doesn't matter why anyone adds me; I'll add back based on whether I'm interested or not, no matter what the case. But I can't help but be curious when 10 or 11 people add me in the space of a day. That never happens.

In more important Twitter-related news, TwitterGadget for Gmail = AWESOME. I love BeTwittered , but it didn't quite fit in the sidebar, and I kept having to scroll over. This is a perfect fit, and I love it to bits and pieces. Gmail really is becoming my new iGoogle. If they had a way to import Google Reader (without using an extension, since I'm not always on FireFox), I would ask for nothing more. For at least five minutes.

I miss random links posting. I keep running across cool stuff lately, I should start blogging about it.

You could post at your LJ *hint hint* :D

I always post the stuff here that I figure no one wants to read! Because no one reads this one (I will continue to believe that) and I didn't really want to write pages and pages about Twitter in my journal.
